Aside from Victoria, that place is just fine for wimps, much drier than Vancouver in the winter too. Although Calgary isn't bad, we get a lot more warm spells than the other folks, and it rarely stay truly cold for long. Did some work up in Fort McMurray and Fort Nelson for a couple winters, those places get cold and stay cold!

We had a rain shower over night but thankfully the sun is out today.

 

Shoveled 4 inches so far and will likely be out there again before long...

Hello Morris, the sun has miraculously shown itself here, but think it's only temporarily

 

The sun has been out doing a great job of melting the ice from that freezing rain but once it gets cold again it could be a real mess.

 

I have relatives in other countries who can't believe how much Canadian talk about the weather. However, it's pretty much always interesting, and usually changing.

It would drive me nuts living somewhere with stable and predictable weather patterns.

 

Good day Nova Scotia, Morris, John, seventy and all who peer in here. Speaking of weather, it is sunny and warm here, pushing 50 degrees F.. Supposed to get near 70 by Tuesday with rain then turn off cold again.. Well cold.for down this way..

 

With my fun toys it certainly wouldn`t bother me to live somewhere that has summer all yr.

 

It actually stayed sunny here all day so said to the wife lets jump in the car and go to Dryden, it's amazing how much heat comes from the sun right now, really nice feeling.

50 degrees F is the stuff my dreams are made of Steve but here we won`t see that for another 3-4 months.
