Three on the tree trans/clutch help
SLOWLY, it goes back together... (still need to paint, but can't do that till my son's 65 Mustang brakes are done... that's another story)
I got the tranny attached to the engine today... now looking to figure out how the clutch "equalizer bar" attaches to the side of the trans. Shop manual shows a "bar to transmission stud"#77555, a spring 7545, a collar 7544, and a Pin. none of which can I find...
Does anyone have any pictures? Or suggestions?
It came apart easier than it is going back together.
Thanks in advance...

There should be two mounting points coming off the side of the transmission cover plate that the [clutch release equalizing bar anchor] bracket (7507) bolts to - if you have a clutch that is activated with a clutch fork and not the rotating shaft type. Not sure of your 53 set up.
Here a pic, don't know if you can make it out.

Julie,
Thanks, the 'bolt' I need isn't in the picture you posted.... I looked at it some more today... I'm thinking there is a shoulder type bolt.... that goes in the 5307 part. In your picture, the bolt is one of the silver colored ones. I may be able to use a bushing type set up with a normal bolt. ??????

duh.... wow, the first time I looked at your response there were only two pictures... now I'm seeing more... (and yeah 5307 isn't there anywhere...)
I'm looking at the bolt #7555... and MAYBE my problem is that the hole that this bolt goes through part #7572, is larger than the bolt... PERHAPS worn???? hence my thinking a shoulder bolt, or a bushing? Maybe 7572 is the problem. Looking at the picture, the hole in 7572 isn't as large as mine....
The bolt (7555) threads into 7507, and acts as a pivot for 7572, which pulls the yoke for the throw out bearing etc.
