leveling kit for 96 f250 2wd

is there a way to lift the front of a 95-97 2wd about 2-3 inches. i guess more of a level job without going to a full on lift. i did a search and couldn't find any leveling kits anywhere. what are my options? 7.3l

First thing is make sure you don't have any worn out bushings, springs, etc..

alright, then what? are you saying they sit level from the factory or are they still higher in the back when bushings, springs are good? i would like a level stance if possible. i know the 4wd have a leveling leaf kit but what about the 2wd?

I'm not positive but I pretty sure they sat higher in the rear on 2wd too from the factory. I don't have any other information for you on raising the front of a 2wd though. Sorry, hopefully someone else can help you out..

I'm in the process of making a leveling kit for the front of my truck. I couldn't really find any for my truck plus I don't like the materials that they are made out of. I was thinking of going with about 2.5" in the front.

You can use lift springs from a 4x4 F150, just keep in mind you will need to lower the center pivots to keep the proper geometry.
There is also a poly-urathane 2" spacer kit for the 4x4 F150's that will work on the F250/350's with coils. However the 150's have a smaller stud, so you need the larger size which is available from the maker of the kit.
Check out Diesel Power Magazine online and look up Project 300. They installed them on that that truck, it's a late 80's F350 diesel. Same springs as ours.
