Ok, I bought this 2000 F250 4x4 while i was home on leave from friend of the family. Truck had 121k miles on it and the owner was in her early 50s and pulled a small alum. horse trailer with it and she gave it to me for 4k cash, couldnt really pass it up. Anyways i need a bit more power outta this think, i was a little disappointed when first driving it but there has to be something to do. I have looked up CAI and some tuners just didnt know how much power they would actually add. My twin had a 2000 with the 7.3 and the tuner he had made a world of difference but i do understand that is a diesel and a totally different case. However my father has a F350 V10 with exhaust, Cai, and a superchip, he said the biggest improvement his tune made was in the shifts and mine being a manual it wont really on mine. Any ideas on some power adders and the cost of them.
