Welcome! Nice to see another 52 in the ranks amongst us. Finding good sheetmetal could be tough, but if you have time, you'll come upon something. Too bad that you're thousands of miles away. I have a complete 51/52 F1 bed with good fenders and tailgate. I also just obtained good and solid running boards if yours are rusted through.
I'd go with a MII set up in the front and keep the rear stock. You can find a 9" rear end out of a 1957-72 F100 and directly bolt it in instead of the current stock rear end. You'll get better gearing and could actually be able to go over 55mph without it humming. You can also buy adjustable leaf spring shackles for the rear that would allow you to lower the rear to your desired height. I have this same exact set up on a spare frame.
Also, I'd like to talk to you about your 6 cyl engine if you don't plan on keeping it. There are a few parts off of it that I'd like to obtain. Since you don't have the minimum required posts to PM or email, could you email me at modelking2000 at hotmail dot com.

Hello Brian
and welcome to FTE... the acronyms you'll pick up quickly... you already know two... IFS & IRS so you're on your way...
good info is at your finger tips... check out the link at the top of the forum.. that is a ford-ipedia of what we've done to our trucks, parts that fit and don't, wiring diagrams, rants and other pertinent information
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...-articles.html
for a rookie I'd also like to offer my article
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/788439-help-for-all-you-newbies.html
might give you some other things to think about while you're dragging it up on the trailer...
don't be afraid to ask questions... there is NOT a question you can think of that we haven't answered, guessed at, postulated on for weeks, hijacked, laughed at and ignored ! Seriously nothing is too simple to ask... we all had to figure out which way to tighten a bolt at one time or another and most of us remember it and can help...
Invest in a digital camera and start taking pictures when you walk out in the field to load it up... and continue taking them during the process... they will be priceless 4 years down the road when you're trying to figure out how something goes together... a camera and a can pf PB Blaster will be your best friends... and zip lock bags and a sharpie... and bandaids...
fun !!!!!
enjoy
