Hey guys,
I know I'm in the wrong forum but I cant find anybody that knows the answer to my question, any help would really be appreciated.
On my rear shock the top brackett has a stud on it with a nut, the nut has to be cut off to rusted to remove but i'm not sure if stud is part of brackett or it can be banged out after i cut nut and remove shock, my truckhas a shock hanging from it and I don't know what to do. If I can bang it out I can replace with new nut and bolt but I don't know if I have to replace entire bracett cause stud don't come out. THANKS FOR ANY HELP

 

go to the parts store, and buy the new shock, then you will know what goes where. take some pics and post, a picture is worth a thousand words

 

cant post attachments yet, already have the shock I just don't know if the bolt in the brackett of the old shock is part of the brackett or if it will be able to be pounded out, it has to be cut nut isrotted to hell.
