Keep on posting to get to your 25 post count so you can put in a signature! Welcome to the MD Chapter...hope we "see" you in the chat thread some..... just a reminder.....this is taken from the thread, How To Become A MD Member:
NEW MEMBERS- When you have been accepted to the Maryland Chapter, the Chapter Leader will create a welcome thread in the chapter forum for you. You will need to stop by, and post a little about yourself, so the other members can get to know you. This is a requirement for chapter membership. New members who choose not to do this will be removed from chapter membership. If you do not have private messages available to you yet, I will post a link to this thread in your visitor's messages, under your profile.
A basic rule for being a Maryland Chapter Member is to occasionally participate in some form, which can include stopping by the chapter forum, and let us know what you're up to, posting on Maryland forum threads, creating threads of your own in the forum, attending GTG's (get-to- gethers), and/or promote the chapter on FTE. Members can and will be removed from the Chapter for not being active in some way.
We also ask that after you have achieved 25 posts, that you enable your Private Message (PM) feature, so you may receive occasional PM's about Maryland Chapter happenings. If you're not sure how to do this, get in touch with me, and I'll be glad to help you get it set up.
You will also be required to give the Chapter Leader your e-mail address. This will NOT be for publication, but for the purpose of the CL or his designated representative to be able to contact you for any necessary reason.
The chapter is here for the benefit of all our Maryland Members, so please participate and help keep the chapter active!

alright...a little bit about me:
as the name implies, I'm a die-hard Ford man, the only non-blue oval I've owned in the last 15 years is a volvo (yeah, yeah, I know, but it was free, and volvo was a part of the Ford family for a while).
My big interests in life are motorcycles (especially HDs) and Ford products (mostly trucks, but I'm gaining a good bit of interest in cars lately beyond the 'daily driver' aspect).
Learned to drive on my Grandfather's 8N tractor, first car was a '76 Maverick, first truck was an '81 F150.
Down thru the years I've owned everything from Lincolns (wannabee Fords ) to F-series trucks, Rangers, Broncos and Bronco IIs, and Econolines.
current stable (if you haven't looked at my 'garage'): '03 6.0L PSD crew cab dually, '95 Thunderbird, '07 Mustang, and a '79 Bronco. (also settling quietly in my back yard is my old '91 E150 van....bought it w/ 125k on it, was still running strong on the orig motor and trans @ 286k when the steering finally let go....wasn't worth fixing, but it was so loyal to me for so long I just can't bear to part with it)

wondering if anyone knows of any stashes of late '70s full-size truck/bronco parts in western MD? I'm somewhat familiar with the junkyards in the Frederick area (Stups, Elwoods, etc), but parts are getting rarer and rarer....and I'd rather have rusty OEM than shiny new aftermarket any day.
Also, any real-time events or happenings in the Fredneck or Hagtown areas? Always nice to put a face to a name........
