16"x8"/8 Lug Rims?

Hey All,
Did Ford make/issue any 16x8/8 lug rims in the older non-metric pattern? I've acquired some 16x7's but they are just a bit too narrow for the tires I want and I'd like too keep my stock hubcaps. I've read somewhere that the Ford vans went to metric at a later date than the pickups and some that I've seen with standard hubcaps look wider/deeper than my 16x7's. Any help is appreciated.
Thanx,
Gene

16.5x 9.75 for the F350 is all I know of. I don't think there was a stock 16" rim any wider than 6" (5, 5.5, and 6) I'm only going up to 1979 though. I do have a set of IH 3/4 ton pickup tires 9.5x16.5 that are on a 7.5" or so wide rim (12" outside to outside on the nubs). But that kind of defeats the purpose if you already have 16" tires.

havi,
I already have 4-16x7's from late 80's thru early 90's, they're a dime a dozen at the boneyards. I'm just trying to find out if there were any 16x8 (no matter how rare) before I spend the $$$ for custom made. Actually, Wheel Vintiques has some for $90-ish apiece. I'm hoping to spend at least a little less.
Thanks,
Gene

I dug out my book, and scanned this page for ya. It's only for the dentside years, though. So I think you're limited to 80's years?

Your chart doesn't list it, but this wheel was also used on some 1967/79 F250 Camper Specials, and used a unique sized tire. Good luck finding any.

16" x 7" 8 lug 6.50" bolt circle wheels are the widest I can find listed in the Ford truck parts catalogs. Used on 1990/96 F250/350's and on E250/350's from 1990 thru...at least 2001.
