What did you do to the X today?
looks like its missing a tooth.
OEM or Aftermarket/eBay?
Transmission fluid, external filter, and internal filter.
Oil change and removed aftermarket oil filter cap, new ford cap and filter.
Both fuel filters (that water separator is a pain o a 4wd!)
Drove it 350mi to visit family for the holidays without a hiccup. Noticed a smell when I got out of the X. Found fluid on inside of right rear wheel.
My uncle works for a ford dealer...took it to him once i got to town and had him check out the assumed caliper leak and verify it wasn't an axle seal. While on the lift, had him go over the front suspension. Found out my rear caliper is leaking, sway bar links are shot, front shock upper bushings are shot, and the front steering dampened is shot. They all look to be OEM originals with 185k. So I'll be doing those soon. On a positive note, the previous owner must've done ball joints recently as they look great!

Mine is now stored away again for the winter, just about 2k on this year was all.
The last outing was the weekend before last, I took my pontoon boat out of the heated garage for one last ride of the season on a local lake. It was about 35 degrees, but what's a little cold when surrounded by great friends?

AWESOME!!
She should be happy that you at least pulled over...
I'm at 199k so sometime during Christmas season I'll be doing the same pullover and picture!
another day and another $$$ bill on the truck...
Have to put new tires on her...the BFGs have over 77k miles on them and I was just skating around in the snow and wet.
Since Monster needs substantial suspension work, I'm going to put some stock size Mastercraft Courser MXT rubber on the stock rims. My plan is to run them until I can afford to redo the suspension with about a 4" lift and new wheels and tires.
Unless the MXTs just blow me away, I'll go back to the BFGs when upgrading the suspension.
