Per my handy-dandy aCar app...over the last year:

So the adaptor plug I got pulls off the dead pole on the 240/120 plug when it's switched to 120. So, I popped off the pannel and just switched the two hot wires around on the plug on te generator, so now I have power through my RV adaptor cord with the generator on 120.
Here's te two ploles I had to switch the wires around on.
My '05 has a lot of amenities that my '01 didn't:
-Heated seats
-Automatic climate control
-On wheel controls for the radio and AC
-4wd
-Smooth seem less steering
-Not mention seats that the were more comfortable
That's why before I let my Missus drive the '01, it sat for so long. Now it gets driven regularly, enjoy your new found luxury my friend.
Ah yes, getting a little spoiled by the luxuries of the newer truck, I know the feeling...

Well it sort of does.. It has 120 to one leg of the plug when it's switched to 120, than adds 120 to another leg when switched to 240.
When I first plugged in my adaptor plug, I got no power. So switched it to 240 and got the 120 at the end of the adaptor plug.

It's kinda wierd how they have it wired. The one hot side of the 240 plug is tied in with one of the 120 plugs, the other hot of it comes from the back of the switch to change between 120 and 240. So you can get 120V out of the round plug without the switch turned to 240, as long as your adapter cord is wired right.
my friends were both going for that '03 EB Excursion i posted earlier, the guy i work with drove home with it today..beautiful fully loaded Ex..i want the two tone seats and second row capt chairs
in other news, seemed like more people went to work today with the traffic...felt like i was the only person working last week.
then i hit 131k on my way home as expected.
and the BEST part when i got home i found my SD card and extra batterys for my new GoPro camera i got for Christmas came in...i had to go try it out!

I have added in the X heated seats, remote start/ alarm so those are really mute points, and both are 4x4
I think the X has pretty comfy seats. I wanted to upgrade the X to leather last spring, but it got the banks headers instead.
Between the X and the Expy it really comes down to a bit smaller vehicle, which translates to less fuel (especially with remote start and running for 10+ mins to warm up) the steering wheel controls, (X doesn't have), and the studded tires I added when we bought the expy which have way better winter traction, (but that is a mute point) Yes overall the expy does drive nicer, and is an easier vehicle to maneuver in town.
What I really dislike about the expy is the lack of being able to turn on the heated seats with the remote start, and the stock headlights really suck. They have really nice f150 headlight upgrades, but the housing is different for the expy. There is really only one choice for the expy by anzo, but I'm not ready to spend $400 on them yet.
