On there passenger tire side of the vehicle there may be some bracket or most of it should be able to purchase directly from Ford.

Degas Bottle

Put on a new degas bottle after 235,000 miles on the original. Took several weeks and the replacement of the vent tube and cap to isolate the bottle as the problem. I even did a block test just to make sure.

New Rancho RS5410 installed! The old one was embarrassingly bad. It had a large air pocket, and fluid was all over the outside of it, and all over the steering mechanisms on the passenger side.

Does anyone know if the 99-03 upper glass mirror with plastic back is the same (fits) the 04-07 mirrors?

It looks the same. Same basic configuration with exception of marker lights, IIRC.

Yeah I know they are pretty much identical but I was curious if there was an internal change because of the side marker that would make the older ones not fit the newer ones. If that makes sense? lol

The reason I ask is because I want 08+ mirrors for my X. I also NEED a passenger mirror upper glass portion for my 04 6.0 truck. So I figured that is a good excuse for the wife to hear for me to get 08's for the X so I could use the passenger mirror off the X for the 6.0.

Only excuse you need, one word: SAFETY.

The pinout/connector may be different but adapters are available.

Took our Ex to Bryce National Park in UT yesterday for a horse ride. Of course I got a mule named Porky.

Today we are at Capitol Reef park.

Bad weather now, maybe better pics tomorrow haha.

Those are great, and the convex mirror is huge - I now know what my next purchase will be!
