Set the Ex back to its stock programming as I have to take it in for an emissions check soon. So I will drive it for about a week or two, then in she goes with fingers crossed that she will pass her first emissions check as required by the nut jobs here in the Seattle area...

Wish me luck.

Good luck !

If it makes you feel any better..... we have NO emissions testing over 7500lbs. Under 7500 is just an OBDII test, no visual. No check engine light, you pass.

This place is weird, there are emissions checks in only a few counties (those around Seattle) and for diesels, if you are older than 2007 and weigh MORE than 6001lbs, then you MUST get tested. http://www.emissiontestwa.com/e/faq.aspx#2

I need to go through my front spring swap, few hundred miles since I installed them so I need to go check all the bolts. Got a few noises and clunks today which were not there yesterday.

We are in constant competition with Kommefornia.

From last Wednesday hauling a smaller shed and some 12" sq pavers. The hill I was driving up was pretty steep and I usually just hammer the gas.

Don't worry, I never get it right unless I say all four words...S L O W L Y...in my head first, then I get the acronym correct!

I gotta ask you tho, to whom was your post directed? We have no clue who your post was talking to because you didn't quote them.

I thought Cali was bad, but....umm....really? Older than 2007? What the heck do they check when a 1996 OBS rolls in, or a pre-powerstroke IDI?

Looks like it got kinda hot under there. Does this count as a custom mod? But on a lighter note I started powder coating and I did the intake.

Not too bad for my first time. Small blemish on the underneath side, but no one will see that ever. And I got an elbow anyway, so if anyone is interested in this...

Is that your X? What happened? Why is the battery still hooked up?

No cat, no test. In GA if you don't have a catalytic converter there is no smog test. Any other vehicle pre-1990 is exempt.
