Does anyone use CB radio anymore? Maybe the truckers?

I do but usually only when going off road in my Bronco. I have one for my pickup but rarely use it. I got a new Cobra 29 for the Bronco for $20 from Walmart. In the pickup I have an old Radio Shack walkie talkie hooked to an external window mount antenna.

I use mine when I do group trail rides. Way better than a 2 way radio. Sometimes its tough though because not all of my trail buddies have them. I've also got a ham radio that I'm trying to learn how to use

I have one in mine, but if anyone locally within a couple hours of Silver City that can help me tune the antenna it would probably work better. I thought I had it tuned right but then on a trip to Denver I didn't get squat on the radio.

I've got one in my truck and my kid loves to screw around with it. I haven't had any luck actually talking to anyone, though.

This may be a little OLD (but what's not on this site?) but, I get mine tuned at Mesa CB in Albuquerque. $10.00 to tune what's already installed.
