How much are these heads / block worth

Whats it worth ? Depends on your area. I've never payed a dime for a big block. Everyone I've ever got was given to me. They are a dime a dozen here in the rust belt, but if they aren't plentiful in your area maby $300-$500 if it's a running engine. They are a high compression head and if you are going to build a pump gas engine you wouldn't want them but someone else will. Try to get all the pullies, brackets with it. Some of those are hard to find.

if they are D0OE heads, then they are the 429 cobra jet heads. they have the huge ports and huge valves in them. the block is a 69 vintage block, so someone must of swapped the heads onto the older block. the only way to tell if it is a 429 or 460 is to get the casting number on the crank or measure the stroke.
the cj heads can be worth a fair bit depending on condition. they are sought after by the restorers and especially the mud pullers who have to use stock cast iron heads in their class. i have seen bare castings go up to $500 - 600 and complete heads needing a rebuild go for around $800 and up.
since i don't think it is a true 429cj engine (the block would have to be either a D0VE or D1VE casting number don't think they ever came with a C9VE block) the rest of the engine is not as valuable. a short block should go for no more then $300 for a clean rebuildable core down to free for rusted junk.
so the heads are fairly valuable while the block not so much.
