Need help with Cab Swap

OK I finally got the beds of my 85 and 87 F150 4x4's and now I'm ready to attempt the front clips and cabs. Does anybody have any helpful hints to do this. One of my neighbors said that there may be a way to take the front clip off in one piece but we can't seem to figure it out if there is, lol. I never swaped a cab before and could use all the help I can get.

Definitely take the front clip off in one piece. Take the hood off, and take the main bolts loose underneath the front, I believe there may be a few in the fenderwell area, and the upper and lower bolts at the rear area of each front fender. Of course you also have to take some of the wiring and piping loose, and taking the radiator out will make it lighter.

Do I need to remove the inner fenders first? Thanks for the help.

No, they come out with it. Just pick it up over the tires when you remove it.
