Ruff idol on my 5.0

I got a 95 f150 with a 5.0 and i had the timing advanced and it will idol runn and will sometimes die, I think it might be the stator

Was it doing this before you advanced the timing?
How much did you advance the timing?

`Its set at 13.5 degrees and it didnt do it befor
