Throwout Bearing
Anyone have trouble with the throwout bearing making alot of noise when out of gear. The truck goes into gear fine. Been driving it a good while like that.

do you have a DMF? Or an SMF?

The Throwouts on our trucks are really ... well a bad design.

It should make the noise while in gear though if its your throw out bearing also.

Big Bill I am sorry but I don't know what DMF or SMF means.

does it have a stock dual mass flywheel.....or an aftermarket single mass(normal) style clutch is what he is asking

I am all most sure it is stock.The has about 150,000 highway miles. Someone told me about a after market.
