2008 "Bowed" Coil Springs

I have a 2008 F250 (6.4) with a 6" BDS lift. It has been installed for about a year and a half.

The lift has been fine other than the steering.

The steering wheel feels like I can feel every dip, bump and wave in the road. Quite scary sometimes (especially with family in truck).

I was walking around my truck about a week ago when for the first time I noticed my front coil springs have a slight "bow" in them.

WHAT are the chances that these springs are simply not strong enough for the front end weight of my truck and have been causing my "soft" steering???

BDS has warrantied my springs and are shipping new ones out to me.
