Ran my Excursion across the weigh scales today

I ran my Excursion across the weigh scales today.
O3 Excursion Limited 4x4 V-10 all options except skid plate 1/8 tank of gas with nothing in it.
Dead weight:
7100 pounds. I would have thought it weighed more.

I ran mine across fully loaded with the tools I use every day, a full tank of gas, and my big butt (6'4" and 250 lbs) and it was right at 8,500.

Mine was 9520 the other day, 3 adults, 1 kid and luggage, that and 6900 lbs of WD trailer so if my tounge weight was 1000 then still 8500 on the truck. total on the scale was 16420. we then picked up one more adult with bags and a 200lb tree - so probably around 16800 all said and done.

They are heavy. I weigh mine periodically when I load the Trailer up for a trip.

Just truck, with a full fuel load and me (200lb) is 8,300. That's before I out the rear Helliwig on, Front was 4280 and rear was 4020.

a full tank of gas weighs aprx 300lbs so when you are weighing empty and with a small amount of gas in the tank, you can add the guestamation of 300lbs for a full tank.

You'll really feel it when breaking if your brakes are what's breaking.

How'd it go at the track?

(I'm 7850# with a 1/4 tank FWIW)

I did 4 runs, all consistent mid 17's and high 70's in 1/4.
