Anyone heard of a 352 in a bronco?

I was at my local junkyard and the guy was asking me if I had ever heard of a ford 352? I was like no never heard of it. He said I've got a 77 bronco I believe, no sure what he said but 70's, that has a 352 in it. He said he tracked all the numbers down and said it's a 352. Said it's got a really nice motor in it and in good shape. I've never heard of ford making a 352. Figured I'd post something and see what you guys think.

Never heard of it, but the largest engine that came in a 66-77 Bronco was a 302.
I stand corrected, there was a 352 FE or FT big block.

Maybe it was a 78 then idk but I've never heard of one. I can't remember exactly what year he said. He said another person said they have heard of it. I was just curious!

Ford definitely made a 352 engine but one never came stock in an early bronco. I believe Ford only built the 352 until around 1976 so that was before the big broncos...

The 352 was discontinued in the 60's somtime, 360's took over for trucks and 390's for cars. I've toyed around with putting a 390 in my EB over the years, cause I'm kinda a fan of the FE motors. The 390 is basically a bored/stroked 352, w/ more performace potential. The FE is pretty heavy and physically large, would be a little tough to put one in. You don't have any pics, do you? I would love to see them!

That would be cool, looking forward to seeing them. If it is indeed an FE motor, the intake is really wide (the intake goes up under the valve cover). Easieast way to spot one.

Transplant! 76 was the last year for the FE, the 77 bronk would have had a 351/400M in it.

Transplant, yes. But 302ci was largest ever put in a 66-77 from the factory.

Was it in an early bronco or a big bronco?

I can tell from the pics that its a big bronco, which started in 78. The EB was done in 77. 76 was the last year for the FE, but because the dentside trucks came with them until 76 and the 78/79 Bronco is based on them, it's basically an easy bolt in. Transplant for sure, but pretty easy to do. It could be a 352, 360, or 390. They are all identical fromt the outside, in fact most don't know but all say they have a 390.

The last 78 Bronco I had, I put a 460 in it. Same idea, never came in a bronco, but all the parts are out there if you want to find them, pretty easy swap.
