Awesome 2" lift springs?

I have a R.E. 3" leveling kit that I haven't installed.

I've recently decided that it'd be more awesome to have a 2" Deaver/other awesome spring instead. (Deaver/Donahue/Icon/Rubicon/??) Also would like to reduce the rear 4" block and replace the rear spring w/ a 2-4" spring and modify the block for a level ride. Or whatever spring provides the best ride.

Any suggestions?

I would give Alcan spring a call. I do a lot of business with them through my off road shop and their stuff is top notch. It might be a little pricy but well worth it.

You could try Dever or National springs but they are bucks.

Or you could get a set of off the shelf 2.5" lift superlift/rough country/tough country springs for the front and a set of 4"+ lift springs for the rear from one of these companies.

Also is your 3" RE lift drop brackets that use stock springs or lift spring?? Just want to know why you dont want to install the kit you have...

I had some Deavers on my '70 suburban and they were super nice. I also believe the 6" on my '99 F350 were made by Deaver. Was wondering if anyone else had done something similar or found a quality small lift spring already marketed somewhere to avoid having custom springs made.

No way I'm putting superstiff/really rough country/tough on your spine country springs on my truck.

The kit I have is the drop brackets. I'm considering not using them if I can find a set of springs that ride nicer than stock. The factory springs leave a bit to be desired. I can't go very far up, especially in the back. Look at my sig pic for the main reason I own this truck.

Also, whats the latest word on shocks? I've ran Bilstiens (love them and currently have them on both my off-road vehicles), Edelbrocks (do they still make these shocks?), trailmasters, procomps, ranchos, skyjackers, as well of a slew of performance car shocks. Whats the lastest best-bang kinda shock for street and towing, no off-road?

heard back from Deaver, they said I have to go at least 4" up front to run they're spring... multiple leaf positive arch for the best ride. Gonna have to do some thinking about weather this will work w/ my trailer. Anyone know what spring/block combo in the back will yield a level truck? I only saw Icon listing a 6" rear spring. Guess I'll do a search....

has anyone ran the OME springs? I've had them on a couple vehicles and liked them, might be worth trying.

I run the Deaver "x" code. Its a two leaf pack with a 6000 # designation

Gave me about 1.5 of lift over tired V code stockers

What are you refering to? OME? I've never heard their stuff refered to as cheap.
I know your not talking about Deaver, they quoted me $1800 for 4 springs.

Yeah, OME is Old Man Emu, the line that ARB offers in the states. In my experience it's always been pretty top-notch stuff.

Waltdog, how do the Deaver X code ride. My crewcab front seem weak also.

Guys, my father is Deavers' accountant. I dont want to "promise" anything ,but if you guys can through a p/n you received from Deaver, i'd be more than happy to pass it thru my pops, and Greg (owner), and see with what business/interest this may create, and ultimately a better price thrown toward you guys...
