New Excursion owner

I have wanted an Excursion since the first time I saw one and ten years later could finally afford one.
I have a 2005 4X4 with a 6.0L and have been loving driving it. Came with a lift and 325 series tires. Just wanted to say hi since now I can do more than just lurk in the shadows.

I don't believe you, I need pictures. Also go lurking in the 6.0 section to learn very important info about the upkeep and things to keep an eye on. Enjoy your new beast of the roadways.

Sorry for this late reply, been slammed lately. There truly is a wealth of knowledge and I've been busy reading as much as possible.
As for details it's an 05 6.0L with 6" of lift. Other than that it appears stock, I've only had it a couple weeks.

I think you will find your X has after market wheels and running boards.
Really a nice looking truck. We don't see a lot of Green X's here in East Tennessee.
You have a GREAT truck.

Yep, the steps were an option on the 4x4 in 05.

Now I believe you. Looks really nice. Make sure you lurk over in the 6.0 section also.

That's what I am looking to get rid of my 02 XLT for.
May-bee only a 4" lift but it looks great!

Thanks everyone.

Wheels and tires are definitely aftermarket Urban, they're 325-60-20 Nitto All terrain's on American Racing's Dale Earnhardt Jr wheels.

Civilian it may only be a 4" lift but appeared taller next to a stock 2005 4X4.

Very nice Ex! I like the color and the tires and wheels! You will enjoy the 6.0 as long as you keep up on the maintenance and keep her out of the shop! I love mine!

Its more than likely a 6" to help with the weight of the diesel motor. I have not come across anyone that sells a kit smaller then 6" for the diesel Ex's.

Nice X!!

Very Nice EX!!

I have to say I'm partial to that year too... How's it feel to look over traffic for miles ahead??

Hey, and everybody's said it, but read up on the 6.0 ... I've had some major work done on mine, but she runs like a beast! Now, if only I had a little more height to see over traffic ...
