I am interested in buying a F350 – FTE advice required before I buy.

Hello FTE folks,
I am looking for some more advice, My uncle called me to tell me that his neighbor is selling a f350 crew cab 7.5L truck for $1500, he was not sure what year but he said it looks between a 94 – 96. I know this is an outstanding deal but I have ran into a lot of problems with my 1994 F250 and I believe both the f350 and f250 have the same power train. My uncle said the truck looks strait and sounds really nice.

The guy who is selling the truck got the truck 2 weeks ago as a package deal with a trailer all he wanted was the trailer so he is trying to sell the tuck before he goes on a log trip. So that explains the low price.

So my questions are what major things I should look for?

I don't know what the milage is on the truck but whats a good range?

I will be going to take a look at it tonight so any advice would be appreciated.

Chears,
- Joshua

If it's a 4x4 then don't even bother looking at it, don't stop anywhere but the bank on the way to his house. If it's a 2wd then you are allowed to stop for a sandwich first.

Overall these are VERY reliable trucks. I'm not sure what your problems were with your truck but don't shy away from this truck at that price. Most people would pay triple for that truck.

sounds like a steal, the front axle alone will bring a $1000

Just out of curiosity, what's the exact address of the truck? Pay no attention to the wad of cash in my hand....

Seriously though, if it's not a rotted out hunk of crap, go for it.
