Effie Oddities ?!!?
Anybody ever see a '55/'56 F-250 with a ten foot bed?
How about a three door crew cab '56 - built in '56?
I'm throwing out as starters. They both actually exist here in Ohio.
I followed the guy from Sabina, OH who was driving the ten footer for about fifteen miles just so I could ask him about the truck. That was several years ago and I'm trying to find out what became of the truck and get PHOTOS.
He was using the truck daily and hauling insane things in it, like concrete road dividers THREE at a time!
The Crew Cab is behind a shop that deals Model A parts. It apparently belongs to one of the employees. I was told it was originally built for a railroad.
There is a '56 dump truck in daily revenue service delivering coal just outside Greenfield, OH. Saw it, again, less than a week ago. I know of at least five 53-56 F-350 or bigger trucks and three or four 3/4 and smaller (including a 55 Panel ) here in south central Ohio. Anyone interested ????
