Tan duck tape...

yesterday I looked at Walmart, Home Depot, & Lowe's...lots of colors (pink anyone??) but NO tan

I went online & ordered a role from tapebrothers.com ~7 for the roll & another ~7 for shipping but it did ship today so should have in a couple of days

I'll post pics of my uber-custom driver's leather repair when done (haha)

I have been in the market for a new set of seat covers for a while and have loved the look and fit of the Wet Okole seat covers. Just can't seem to come up with the $$$!

However....

You either recover the seats now and enjoy the benefits or take a loss when you sell it. Or, recover the seats for the next guy just before you sell it in an attempt to get a good return, and not get the benefit yourself.

I have no clue as to why someone would sell their Ex. I do not plan to ever do so.

But, seemingly, some people do. I have noted new members to the forum who have indicated they have recently purchased one, "New to them". So, I have to guess some people do sell them.

So, I was just saying......

I believe partsguyed has the factory replacement leather covers. Thats what I plan on doing. My lower drivers side bottom is pretty bad. The leather throughout the rest of the X is pretty good.

The seat shop has replacement seat covers, these are for 2004 Ex:

Drivers side bottom $195

The Seat Shop - 2002 - 2006 Ford F250, F350, Excursion Drivers Bottom: Medium Parchment Leather Color STK# C-F250-06-MP-D

Drivers side upper $215

The Seat Shop - 2002 - 2006 Ford F250, F350, Excursion Passenger Top: Medium Parchment Leather Color w/Perforated Center STK#CT-F250-06-MP-PERF-P

They have step by step videos on how to do the recover, looks pretty easy.

Watched Craigslist for about 6 months. Finally found these for $100 bucks and wife got them for me for Christmas. They look blue and tan in the pics but are black and tan.

How well do the heated seats work with the covers? Also, how does it affect the rear flaps on the back of the second row seats?

jh818, did yours from Costco not come with the center armrest for the saecond row? Also, did they cover up the flap on the back of the second row seats?
