Chop and Lower - Please Help
I am looking for pictures and any other help I can get in chopping and lowering my 51 F3. Im looking to only use old/used parts in the whole project to keep it looking like it will fall apart at any minute. Trying something new so please help and thanks in advance.

at the least i'd say your gonna have to score another cab or roof section to do the chop . i've seen to many online and here locally that start a chop with intentions of finishing it then give up and have screwed up two trucks when they discover what a boat load of work it is . my buddy jay's 50 is a good example . they hacked the cab up ( the peeps he got it from ) and jay then tried to pay somewone to finish it correctly , and this " bodyman " screwed it up even more !!!!! it lists too one side , it's kinda warped as when they widened it front to rear and side to side to make it fit , they just stuck peices of flat sheet metal in it and put a couple hundred tons of putty in it to get the roofline back ..... on and on . maybe get an old book or article on it from back when and digest it and decide if you want ot go this route or not ... lots of things to do and change for a successful one . in the same vein as what you are thinking i was attempting to land a 46 or 47 cab frame and suspension for cheap . i was gonna leave the cab alone , drop a shortened model t bed on it and cut the frame the prerequisite amount to make it ft / look right , and drop the suspension in the weeds , go fenderless , etc... never landed it , and good thing , i don't have enough time for what i have .......
