I dont know about the rest of yall but my back up lights suck. The dang taillights throw more light than they do lol. So today i took this light off our old blown up snowblower and stuck it on here. I wired it up to come on when I shift into reverse. sure helps alot. Best 10 minutes I ever spent lol.

Sigh....things those of us in snow country can't do..... one snowbank backed into, or one winter of salt, and it's junk either way.

I dunno, we get alot of lake effect snow here. If i back into anything the light should flip up before it breaks. Ive done alot of things, but never backed into a snow bank.

I have mine near the center of the bumper approx where the bumper curves in for the step, angled out. They were protected pretty well by the hitch.

Never had any issues with snow banks. But when the trailer ball broke off the receiver and the trailer slammed into the back of my pickup, they didn't fare so well. I think one still works though.

Eventually, I'm going to mount some round utility lights in the same spot and cut out the bumper for some aircraft landing light, spots.

up where I used to live the usual sunday morning piles where the plows would come trough at 3 am sunday would scrape the bottom of our pickup frames, and in the car you checked for traffic then punched it real hard and hoped you didn't end up stuck in the snowbank acrossed the street, or you just got up another half hour early to shovel the drive

I miss home

I got two under my rear bumper and two more on the camper tie-down beams, all light up automatically with the backup lights.

I got a toggle for my reverse lights because the last guy who owned my truck had a little switch coming up through the shifter boot... so now i got a switch panel with fighter toggle for reverse.

cool idea with the bright beams, i may do this in a few weeks now that I seen it, are they legal?
