I"ll keep my eyes open Phillip. You need a good rust free southen truck. Florida or Texas perhaps?.....
I did the same thing a few years back, sold my 01 F250 (5.4 gas...Shhhh) for a little economic car.
It lasted 8000 miles before I was back in Superduty.

Good luck with the sale, keep us updated.

I like the last truck, I was looking for a single rear wheel when I found mine. (nice ranchhand also )
That would be a fun trip. there is enough of us down here to all go give it a once over, and help you get it ready for the journey home.
Although a southern truck may make a u-turn all by itself when it sees salt on the roads...

Just curious as to why you thing the STi is a POS? I've owned a few Subaru's and while they don't have the fit & finish of my buddy's S500, they're not $80k either. Anvil-reliable and awesome in the snow was my experience, but then, I wasn't rocking their flagship rallye-toy either.

Brendan - I love Subaru, nothing against them. ive had 2. i just miss my truck, the functionality of the truck, and i am honestly not comfortable driving the car. I had it in the snow today and it was all over the place, even with a light snow tire.

Its hard to tell if thats a long bed, im not sure. but the one franco posted is real nice

Getting back in a super duty along with a crawfish boil, sounds like a win win. I have not had good crawfish since I went to New Orleans, about 10 years ago.

My wifes second cousin had me interested in a 2006 super duty crew cab Lariat. It only has 12k on it. Every vehicle he owns is like showroom condition. We already bought his travel trailer.
