Ah, yes. I remember those days like it was only 3 years ago. Wait, it was...

Dry run to the hospital from our door to their door took 90 seconds flat.

...We live next to the hospital...

...Then they sent us home because the maternity floor was full and they were using the Emergency room for a couple women giving birth. They said go home and don't come back till ya mean it!

I'm planning on the DIY Stage 1s as well, but I don't even have a chip in mine. I need injector O-Rings so I thought I would just do the stage 1 upgrade while I was doing it. How will these perform without a chip? Will the truck run better or worse until I get a chip? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, she's ready for him to come out NOW!

I already have the vent mod done on the front and rear. And I've been filling up every 250-300 miles because I had a leaking rear tank before. No I should be getting 850-1000 depending on my driving.

Congrats to you two on the kids. If it's your first one, go to bed now. You'll miss out on plenty of sleep soon enough.

Seems like just a few years ago that my little girl was getting ready for kindergarten. Time flies as they get older, so make time and pay attention. Heck I even look back fondly on all those nights that my daughter would jump in my lap and we would watch that same Barney tape every night. But for the record, I still hate that stupid purple dinosaur.

Oh, and congrats on the fuel tank you can't afford to fill up and the new sticks Most of the fuel pumps around here shut off automatically at $75 unless you're in a small town or at a truck stop. I can hit that with just the 38 gallon tank. You've got 56 now.

No offense meant Brownie. More a figure of speech on how much fuel costs now. I remember when I would scrounge up all my loose change to put some fuel in the tank to run around on a Saturday night. Today it would take all that change just to scrounge up a gallon.

You can do the upgrade before getting a chip. It'll run fine, just won't see any power gain because the computer isn't telling the injectors to give any more fuel.

X2 with that, and in other hand if you have stage1 and chip burned for stock sticks, you wont get the full potencial of the stages1, and you have to reburn the chip.

But, it wont hurt to go ahead and go to the stage 1s? I just don't want to pull the sticks and replace the orings and then a couple of months down the road pull them again and do the stage 1's.

Yes, you can do 1's now and do a chip later and not hurt anything. You just won't get a performance gain without a chip.
