Sorry, no idea as fa as the decals go. Might be able to have some custom made with any graphic you like?

If you're replacing the Injection Pump, replace all your Injectors at the same time for best results.

Replacing the heads? Time for new head gaskets?

Cheers BlueOvalBud :

Thought it was long shot - I managed to peel the old decal off the cover - is plastic with a white backing - i think I can reuse if I find a decent adhesive

got all you mentioned but for the new injectors - replaced those maybe 10,000 miles back - new valley pan to install as well

They should have the ford part numbers some where on them usually along the bottom edge, if you get the numbers you can give Green Sales Company a Call and I am sure they would have them.

There number is 1-800-543-4959

Better then mine were then! I just sanded it off and said bye-bye to it. (I know, technically that's a federal thing) But in my defense it was illegible, had no useful information, and appeared to have a "VOID" thing on it, though the "VOID" appeared to be written backwards - like it was a void sticker that was placed on top and then ripped off. That was the most mysterious engine decal I've seen. Got all the specs I need in the service info though.

I knew I was in luck as my decals were intact - the valve covers had a fair amount of rust - as I have a rule - anything removed must be cleaned and painted before refitting - " VOID " was visible only after I pealed the decals off - void being sort of a ghost image printed on the white adhesive part of the decal underside - i just wire wheeled off as much of the rust as possible - acid washing the rest - and hope to be able to contact a decal maker who will know of a proper way to affix these back to valve covers - to handle the heat

I believe this engine is still available - in rebuilt crate complete with all factory decals - so it may just be a waiting game before I might get a set

also trying to see if new valve covers are available and if they might have the decals as well

cheers:

I had thought it looked like it was missing part of the decal. I sure wish I knew more of the history of this engine. The fact that it seemed to say "VOID" after you pulled the top off makes sense then. What was left on mine was the borders and outlines of where the information should go, but no information. So either previous owner removed it, or the fact that the valve covers were caked in grease deteriorated it and it came off on it's own.

And in all seriousness how does the TOP of a valve cover get caked with oil and grease? It's not like the oil filler is on it like the gas engine blocks.

Could be a leaky valley pan - or in its life one of the return lines leaked - and diesel fuel - or a combo

keep in mind these moteurs are know to cavitation - due to low level vibration - mine is an F350 4x4 ex tree service truck that spent half its life snow plowing in the midwest - I am amazed these decals are intact at all - compared to the cancer of the front undercarriage - though I have wondered if the fleet service co. had a new crate engine installed at some point before I purchased - dunno..... just the space in the engine bay - how high my truck sits - and the amount of wind buffet this beast will create at 70mph - the oil cooler as well as exhaust manifolds are flaking cancer - but when she rolls - she is indeed a beast

Yeah I could see SOME oil from a valley pan or valve cover or injector. But I'm talking 1/8" thick scrape it off with a putty knife kind of goop. Valley pan at the back was over 1/2" thick with goop. Our tractors are cleaner than this thing was.

The one benefit - front 8 feet of my frame looks like new
