Transmission problems in 2, one with the 300 I-6 has 350,000 miles, check engine light is on, short on power, one needs the idler pulley replaced, and he needs to install batteries in one of the 90 models to drive it. When he finds a wheelchair rigged van cheap, he buys it, wheelchair lifts are expensive.

I only have one Ford van, but I have five GM J-body convertibles. When I'm asked why I have five convertibles, I reply, "Because I sold one- I had six."

Its the case of the moving computer... jeezus what a crazy process?. Different years have different locations, different transmissions, different intakes!. I have a 96 E350 7.3 which has been kicking my *** trying to fix this stumbling idle and erratic running even driving. Ive done "everything" the guys threads above mine has done and nothing (but less money and even less patience). Im thinking coils and or a PCM. To make this trickier ,its a 31ft RV so its possible the RV company relocated a whole bunch of stuff to add even more circuitry than these things already have. Anybody out there that can help with coil replacement details and PCM location?. I found a 2nd solenoid ( after tons of head scratching) under the drivers side battery tray. Entire grill assembly came off, headlights, blinkers etc. I can do this with my eyes closed now. Thanks for any help.Jordan Grant,Norwalk Ct

I didn't see any testing or diagnostic work on your list. Have you tried any of that?

Or just parts swapping?
