No, but you could have one installed at the dealer if you wanted one.
The 51/52 Ford Hood Ornimants resembled Jets (as did most of the hoor orniments of the day)
I have looked at lots of hood orniments from the 51/52 jet,
the rocket flying through the circle
and of course the "Swan."
The 56 had an optional orniment that looked very much like the "Richfield" Petroleum Bird. There's a picture in the link below as well:
I found the least imposing on the 51/52 (in my opinion) was a straight plain bullnose, or for a little schmultz, I put (and I have seen MANY 51/52 with this) a 47 Ford Car Hood Orniment on mine. Mine is an original, but they are available in repro from Dennis Carpenter:
Here's the link to a sight that sells hood ornaments with pictures if you want to look:
Hood Ornaments and Fender Lights
And a past discussion we had on those, all the pictures are x-ed out so it's not any good: But here it is anyway:

This one has a picture of a repro 56 Eagle:

This is just my opinion, but I think that hood ornaments don't look good with the design of our trucks. The ornaments look much better on a car. That's why the original designers put them on cars and not trucks. Plus, you'll need to drill two holes in your hood and depending on the condition of your hood, you may not want to do that. Lastly, if you decide to remove the hood ornament after sometime, you'll have the two holes remaining. You'll either have to fill them in or replace the entire hood.
Just my 2 cents...
BTW, GO SHARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 51-52 Jet really looked cheezy on the truck. I wasn't sure I would like this one either. So the other day I took it off for a few days and really missed it. So, I guess it stays. I have a lot of NON truck-like stuff on my truck anyway - the visor, the continental kit, etc. The plain bullnose really looked the best on it, but I havn't found one at the right price yet. They're expensive!

But like most options that the dealers had in the "back room" for both cars and trucks, you could have you dealer put just about anything on that they had in inventory.
If you haven't noticed also, the trucks seemed to recieve a lot of car accessories from cars two or three years prior. I'm not sure if it was a matter of using the tooling or using backstock inventories.
But I've seen a lot of 48-52 trucks with the 46/7/8 Ford car Hood Orniments on them.
I think the "Bonus Built" is very handsome and clean looking with out anything there! But when I turn on the lights under my plexi insert at night on mine it looks really cool!
