You know, I could never figure it out, we're a coastal state, we should get gas cheaper because it should be easier to bring in on ships & such....

Yeah and there are a lot of refineries here in Ca. I guess it gets divided evenly and we just consume so much more fuel than anywhere else.

Good Morning All......

Here is the reason for the difference in prices, Kansas pays .434 in tax per gallon and you pay .72 tax per gallon for diesel, the below is the gas tax map.
