Finally!

Hey guys! I've been around here forever, gathering information and working on the ol' 48. Finally got it somewhat finished(until time for paint, hopefully in the fall) and enough to drive to the f100 supernationals and the other show in June. Just wanted to share a little. (and sorry for the poor picture, i'll take some better ones ASAP)

48 F-1
1990 Mustang 5.0 HO engine
Heidts Mustang II front susp.
9' Rear

Hope to see you guys soon at these shows!

BTW, if any of you are close to Maryville, TN, my church is putting on a car show May 8. Fairview UMC, Maryville TN

I know this is any old thread. But since I am going with an IFS and a 5.0 HO as well, did you have any issues with headers or your steering box. Did you keep the motor EFI and if you did, did you put a/c in your truck. What tranny did you end up with. Thanks

Ummmmmm, ………..this will bump your message to the top, but with the Heidts Mustang II front end it should be rack and pinion steering and therefore no steering box. james48f1 is not a prolific poster so you might have better luck with a PM to him?
