I have always been partial to the Ford crest blue dot taillights for the 55-56 trucks, maybe you can use them over your led lights for the two lower and use round on top or put 4 crest lenses.

 

That's a neat idea but I never understood the blue dot thing. It would look good in a clear tail light though. I guess it was a way of getting a custom tail light without all the modifying. With a red led I don't think it would be as cool. The dot would still light up red. I would have to go with a red lens and put in a white led bulb. Thanks for your input. Another good idea. I have plenty of time to get this done but I figure if I decide on what tail light set I'm going with I can go ahead and buy a set and start trying to decide where to mount them.
