so lately my escort has been getting all the driving so it might be 3 or 4 days in between driving the 05 6.0 f250 ive noticed lately that when i start it up i get a puff of blue smoke when it starts, i never noticed in the past so i figured i would ask the pros (you guys) i might be over exagerating but i have warranty til july so if im gonna aquire a bad headgasket i want it before then.

I am seeing a little blue smoke on start up as well. Once she warms up, it goes away and doesn't come back. I do use Rotella 5w-40 full synthetic and can't tell any change on the dipstick. I am not sure if its sign of something...i'll continue to investigate and will post back if i learn something. I am not sure, but the kitty is sitting in the barn, i would assume that would contribute some.

2005, F250, Fx4, 127k miles, head studs, egr block, 4" turbo back exhaust, SCT tunes,.....
