source for carburetor idle screw

It seems as if the replacement carb rebuild kits do not have idle screws included. I have a Ford Model AA-1 2-bbl carb from my flat head V-8.
Can anyone advise where you can get them?
Thanks.

You may try Charlie at Vintage Speed.
(their website is Vintage Speed )
You can check their website as they list many parts or call him direct if you do not find what you are looking for.

I recently purchased a new Holley 7RT carb from them and it was well done.

By the way, Charlie's personality is not much to speak of, but hang in there and I bet he can help you...!!

AFAIK, no carb kit comes with idle screws, regardless of what year the carb is, or carb type.

I have a Ford Model AA-1 2-bbl carb from my flat head V-8.
There's no such thing as a Model AA 2V carb. The Model AA came with a 4 cylinder flathead engine. The Model BB (1932/34) came with both the 4 cylinder (1932/33) & flathead V8.
As original, the Model AA 1 ton truck (and Model A's) used a 1V carburetor: B-9510-A (replaced B-9510, A-9510-C & A-9510).

Fits: 1928/31 Models A/AA / 1932 Models B/BB / 1933 Model C & BB / All 4 cylinder.

No 4 cylinder engines in US built cars/trucks after 1933 (thru 1969). Ford offered 4 cylinder Industrial, Marine and Tractor engines. The Jeeps that Ford built for the war effort (1942/45) came w/a flathead 4.

59A-9510-A .. 2V Stromberg "97" Carburetor (replaced all V8 carbs [1932 Detroit Lubricator] & Stromberg carbs marked 91 thru 96, 98 & 99) used 1933/47 (except V8 60).

Look on the carb you have for the ID number, post what it is.

If you get stuck, call San Diego Carburetor and ask if they have one. This guys got drawers and drawers of parts from just about everything - including airplane carbs.

These guys have been around forever!

Here's a link:

San Diego Carburetor is your one stop for carburetors, ignition, tune-up and fuel injection.

Another place to try: North Hollywood Carburetor & Ignition.

This place once did all the work for Harrah's Auto Collection.

It's located in North Hollywood, CA on Lankershim Blvd (818-769-0040).
