Someone please tell me why I don't get email notification when someone replies to a subscribed thread.

Yes, I'm sure this is the wrong place for this.

On the LH end of the blue mid-line of "site subjects", click on User CP.
In the LH column, scroll down to Settings & Options.

In that group scroll down to Edit Options.
In that window scroll down to Messaging & Notification.

The second box down is the Default Thread Subscription Mode.
In the small box in the RH corner, click on the arrow for your choices of being notified. Pick one. Could it be any easier?? (just kidding)

I prefer the Instant Email Notification; (I have determined that it really isn't INSTANT, but is is usually within 30 minutes of being posted - probably due to Sun spots or global warming, ay?)

Mine is set to "instant email notification".
I've gone back to double check several times.

I've even filled out some kind of problem form (not sure of name) two different times. I'm missing something somewhere....

Thanks Barnie, the way you explained is exactly how I need when it comes to computer stuff.

I turned mine off about a year ago... why clog up your e-mails when you can just click on your userCP and check what threads are active.

Maybe the setting is correct and the emails are being sent but you're not *receiving* them? (i.e., spam folder)
