97 F250 HD, Trans just rebuilt, New conv, Punisher v/body. while driving, the truck seems to be hunting for gears. Sometimes it shifts fine and then it goes back to searching again. Sometimes when it changes gears its harsh and sometimes it shifts fine. Pulled a 622 code out of it.

 

just an update. this was a faulty solenoid causing the problem. a word to the wise..... whenever you overhaul one of these trannies replace the solenoid pack! and if possible avoid the reman ones.....
