double din???

double din???

will a double din fit in an 02 f350? Or do i have to use the single din

A double din needs a slight amount of messaging to fit in the superduty. I think the dash is 1/16 shy of making it, and there is a tab near the back that needs to be removed. It's not that hard from what I understand, but boy does it look better than the plastic adapter kits.

I put a double DIN Kenwood in my 01, it should be the same for 02. Just had to trim about 1/16" off the top and bottom of the dash where the stereo slides in. Not very hard to do.

I would like to get a double din with navigation. any ideas?

I'll admit, I'm partial to Kenwood... teamed up with Garmin, how could you go wrong. That said, with phones that have Nav built in, phone are cheaper. Of course there's no Wow/display factor. To me it's not worth the extra 200-300+.
