260,000 mile seat... reupholstery kit options?
my seat is ragged and torn, foam coming up and portions torn off. (bad enough a seat cover won't handle it) i priced a few places locally on having the seat reupholstered, and was quoted 250 on the bottom end for a cheap job on the bottom of the seat only. prices went up really quick from there. i've reupholstered tons of furniture, and the work doesn't intimidate, but i don't have access to a good sewing machine anymore and can't stitch together a new seat myself. i've looked online but haven't been able to find much in the way of kits for reupholstering for the 92-96 seats. (found a few for other years) LMC has some listed, but their prices seem really high to me. anyone else know of a good source to find upholstery kits?

I think that NPD and/or LMC are your best bet for a DIY upholstery kit. You could look at JCW and see what they have.
I found some OEM upholstery on Ebay a while back. You could check on there and see if some shows up.
Another good option is a slavage yard seat swap, if you come across a nicer one.
