I have not been here long, but you have helped me a ton already and I look forward to picking you brain in the future.

Its unfortunate that some people are so self-absorbed that they are unable to allow someone to do something nice for someone else without making it about them.

number dummy gives everybody on fte not only the correct parts numbers but the location of any oem parts left anywhere in the us. Who else has the time to put in that he does much less the knowledge and info at their disposal. Even if someone had it how many would donate as many hours a day of their time to help us like he does. I'll go on the record and say nobody. We have come to expect it of him and that isn't right. I assume he does what he does because he likes to help others keep the classic auto hobby alive, because he loves it and likes to help the folks that have that in common. One day he will quit for some reason or just slow down and will be surely missed and a needed asset will be forever lost to us. Thanks for the time and devotion especially to the younger generation Bill.

Very true and a GREAT post. I hope NUMBERDUMMY comes back to see this turning for the better. I joined the website in 09 and just recently started to post and talk on it but the first post I did, there was NUMBERDUMMY, giving me great information on something people at carshows could not tell me or even knew. After that I became hooked on here. So I know I won't forget years from now when I become senior user who I would attribute that to. I also follow some of his threads around when I see the post just to see what I can learn from them. NUMBERDUMMY I hope you stick around for a while.....I could use the help as well as MANY others

Here here for Bill!! I have read NUMEROUS posts of his and I am constantly amazed that he takes the time and has the patience to research out part numbers, give information as to where parts might be found if they still exist and respond to many posts that, if I may say, were less than helpful or polite. His historical knowledge (and experience!) is priceless! Thank you Bill for your help over the years. I TRULY appreciate your presence on this website.

I second that

Although I don't know him very well except for reading his posts, I can say that ND's unmatched amount of knowledge is overshadowed only by his willingness to help others no matter how nerve racking it some times is. Anymore its hard to find people that will go out of their way just to help someone, like ND does on a regular basis. I thank you for not only what you have helped me with, but the help and knowledge you have distributed throughout FTE and all its members.
