need more radiator info

about a week ago I asked for help finding a radiator for a 1948 f1 with A 351W AND AUTO-trans. one recommendation(from mechmagcn) said a good fit would be a mid 70's dodge truck radiator.
I need to more info. Spent over an hour at napa today and they could not find an easy match. found one with the water inlet and outlet apparent the wrong sides for a 351w. Can the radiator outlets be relocated without excessive cost? which dodge engine do I look for?
Any suggestions appreciated

radiator

Remember you can always use a bent peice of exhaust tubing to get the connection piped over to the correct side. Pete

Here's a good tip....

....go back and reread the thread you started a week or so ago. There were several good suggestions made along with links to catalogs where you can do your own research.

If you have a driver's side outlet water pump the Dodge radiator won't work unless you move the bottom outlet to the other side. It's an easy job for a radiator shop if you have one in your area. I have a 75 Dodge truck radiator in my 48 with a SBC and it works great for that or for a passenger side outlet Ford engine. I've been looking at trying a 55-57 T-Bird radiator for my 49 with 302. The outlets seems to be right but I haven't physically laid eyes on one yet to be sure it will fit. The dimensions seem right...
