camshaft for 5.8 supercharged?

I have a 93 lightning with the 351w gt-40 motor with a ford motorsports supercharger (powerdyne 6psi) i am getting a 393 stroker kit. what camshaft would be a good one for this set up? I am looking to get 8.5 compression ratio pistons with the kit. it has the stock rearend (4.10 posi) and the e40d trans with a shift improver kit. other than this it will be stock - computer and all. i will be changing out to adjustable roller rockers. i have never had a supercharged vehicle before. thank you ,

Sounds like a really interesting build-up. Your best bet is to contact one of the many camshaft companies, and tell them of your proposed changes(i.e. going from 351 to 393 cid), and what your current set-up is : stock Lightning camshaft, stock computer(Speed Density),6psi of boost supercharger, stock 4.10:1 axle gears, etc. They should be able to give you a few good cams to choose from for a blown 393 incher. You'll most likely need a custom "chip" for your Lightning's computer. I don't think Speed Density electronics is as forgiving as a Mass Air meter when it comes to increasing displacement, plus adding a larger-than-factory camshaft. Good luck.
