351C Valve Spring Specs?

Anybody know what the stock specs are for the valve springs on a 351C?

The springs I pulled off the heads are a single spring with dampener - I measured them at:

1.51" O.D.
1.09" I.D.
0.208" wire diameter
2.11" height (uninstalled)

I can't seem to find any springs with these dimensions so, I'm wondering if they're stock or not...

The heads have been re-worked at some point and I'm trying to determine if whoever did the work put stock springs in or aftermarket to match some kind of aftermarket cam...

I'm also trying to determine if these springs are comparable to the Comp Cams 972-16 springs as far as load rates and whatnot... The Comp springs have:

1.46" O.D.
1.06" I.D.
1.195" Coil Bind Height
308 lbs/in Spring Rate

Thanks

Well, I clamped one of the old Cleveland valves in a vise and found that the bind height is 1.145" - I thought I'd have to swap them out anyway as I plan on swapping the cam later on down the road and the Comp 972-16 springs were what Summit recommended for the cam I was looking at... Looks like I'll also have to add shims, retainers, and locks to the list, as well lol...

My Cleveland spring free height is 2.0625 and fully compressed is 1.15625. I can take some more measurements tomorrow if it'll help.

I don't know. The engine was given to me 17 years ago with no details about it.

Ah ha! That's what I was looking for These are 2V heads with a 1972 code on them - I don't know what the engine was in, originally, but it had been transplanted into an Econoline van when I found it...

These heads had been completely re-worked before and the info you posted confirms that the valve springs were swapped out - it looks like the engine must've had a fairly aggressive cam - If the stock solid height is 1.33 and solid height I measured on these springs is 1.145 (+/- 0.01 ) and, with the other information I've been collecting, I believe I can safely use these springs with the cam I'm looking into buying later on down the road... It's not an overly aggressive cam - just a bit above stock ... It looks like the head work is relatively recent so, there's not that much wear on the springs...

I'm still collecting parts - got the valves from Tim Meyer and they fit nicely... RockAuto has the locks, seals, and shims (1.5 OD, 1.031 ID, .060 thick) I need for a good price...
