Finally got around to removing the stock rear springs with the Add-a-Leaf and lift blocks and installed my new Skyjacker FR52S springs. So much more happier with the ride now.
Got the engine running and started to debug the fuel system. Looks like the fuel pump is working fine so the next step is to try to clear the line back to the tank and then get some more gas in there to see if she can run all by herself.
"Finally" finished up with the brake line replacement, I missed being able to drive the Scab. Took it for a drive and didn't run overly warm like it did so hoping I've got it flushed out good now.
Sand blasted, primed and painted my stock steel wheels satin black. Got some 31x10.50x15's mounted on them. Put them on the truck and installed my shiny dog dishes!!! Looks good!!!
Very beautiful engine. I have the open air cleaner as well and my PCV valve doesn't have the hose anymore either on my 400. Do you ever have any issues with your PCV being a stand alone?

Who are you talking to?
If your PCV is open to the free air, it isn't doing anything. It needs to be connected to intake vacuum. Open element air cleaners typically come with a fitting for this purpose.
