Ordered a set of Moog tie rods, new air cleaner, and a new in-line fuel filter. Hopefully the tie rods fix my death wobble problem, EVERYTHING else is new (less than a year old).

Well I was able to live in my dads shoes for a little while today. I had my 4 yr old son out in the garage with me holding the light for me and watching for bubbles and fluid out of the brakes. LOL Reminded me when I used to hold the light for dad and it would be aimed at what I was looking at and not what he was working on lol. Then he hit me in the head with the light, but he did a great job helping me and he was pumped to be out helping me.
Brakes are much better now BTW. I also trimmed the bump stops on the rear axle and rides better now as well.
Still contemplating battery location.

Rebuilt rear brakes. All new wheel cylinders, full hardware kit, and shoes. Drums looked like they'd never been cut, they cleaned up real nice. Brakes still suck though, pedal almost to floor and HIGH pedal effort... will look more later this week.

Re bleed the brakes with the "tube in the jar" trick. Do the "new fluid in till new fluid out" bit.

Ck the vacuum draw from the intake to the power brake booster.

Maybe time to get a new m/s and power brake booster, if so remember to bench bleed the m/s.

What did I do to my truck today, dropped the tail gate and took some parts pics. Some folks should not be allowed to own a welder....

Still working on getting my project crew cab back on the road. Getting very close. Rigged up a temporary exhaust and swapped tires from my other truck in preparation for getting it registered finally. I'll be getting 35's once I have enough funds.

New parking lamp arrived . The cold snap and road debris broke it .

Got a break from the rain .

I now have a proper marker / turn signal . Got it from my local Carquest for the same price I found on line . $ 2 more , but no shipping .....

Sound deadening went well, I have four sheets left. I figure I will wait and see how it does before I go putting anymore in. Once the carpet I ordered shows up and gets installed that should add even more sound proofing.
Next plan of attack, figure out how to convert linkage style clutch system to cable. I think I already have it whipped, so now just waiting for the transmission to show up. My bell housing came in today so I cleaned and painted it, pics tomorrow.
