Just fired mine up and let it run a little while.. Was going to take it for a drive around town, but it's outta go-juice.. reoccurring problem with the big block in it Still wouldn't trade it for a small block any day.

replaced a rusted through rear shock bracket, the affected rear shock, and put longer wheel studs in the passenger rotor so the mag nuts had some more threads to grab on to.
and got the title applied for.

Received my 5 items back from the powder coat guy, came out really nice.

Prepared 8 more items for powder coating. Received some 6" caster wheels for some new shelving I'm putting up to organize all my restored items.

Tomorrow is paint day for the rest of the plastic air conditioning parts, then time to order some 1/8" and 1/4" neoprene sheet from Ebay.

Painted my Evaporator/Heater AC housing with some SEM Black.

Ordered a fin straightener and some outside coil cleaner from Amazon, and bought a can of coil flush at OReilly's. Still need to order the Neoprene sheets.

8 items ready to go out to the powder coat guy Monday.

Made a new coil wire, and disassembled and cleaned my distributor. Took her for a spin and adjusted my vacuum secondaries. I don't know for sure, but I may need to re-jet to get where I need it.

Busy day on the truck. Replaced the oil pan gasket, painted the grill guard and then put some new fabric on the headliner. Headliner didn't come out quite as good as I was hoping but is still a huge improvement from the white particle board

Removed my Edelbrock intake and gasket matched the ports, cleaned up the runners, cut the plenum divider down and smoothed all the edges then reinstalled and tuned. 10 hours of porting, I need a bigger compressor.

Well after over two years of farting around I am finally ready to paint this thing. Got it primed and sanded this weekend. I didn't block it though, I'm out of motivation, just want to get it done.

I unloaded the newest addition to the fleet. A '73 F-100 2wd 360 / 3 on the tree. I should have the new engine back from the machine shop in a few days, then I can get it running and put a few shake down miles on it to see what else it needs.

Spent last week getting the new radiator, trans cooler, Cougar fan, and Caddy horns in and wired for a car show the 4th. Ran it in Vale, Oregons attempt to break the world record for longest pickup parade on the 5th. Never got hot through the parade until the very end when I guess the fan controller overheated for a little while. Works fine now.

Roughly half the field of the unofficial count of 438 pickups.

I thought of that as we started moving. Small Town Throwdown was on the radio though.
