i have new billet alum mods,10" wide waiting for the right tire. Im thinking the 33 12.5 16 super swampers, i like the nobbie look. I like the two tone but, once the alum in places cuts threw the paint moisture gets under the paint then the surface rust starts. Plus dirt and crud builds up inside the trim and ya wash it it steaks down the paint, body man for 30yrs ya learn alot.

This is why I'm going to have my race track trim painted on.

Ordered my blue led lighting for the dash. There is enough I should get at least 3 dash clusters done with it!

Ordered the speedometer needle paint.

I'm thinking of maybe getting white led lights for under the dash for when the doors are open or courtesy lights are on. That would lighten the floor boards real well. Thoughts? Anyone done that?

I was planning to wire some up to my new harness when I install it since it has 2 floor light circuits.

Did more sanding today, so far a total of 33 hours of sanding and prep work and we're only half way done before prime coat, then more block sanding. Also ordered my rear roll pan which I need before paint.

Without trim, where would I make the color change? I think directly down the middle of the body "dent" would look odd. Maybe at the top or bottom lip of the "dent"?

Getting my new seats mounted. Picked up a pretty good deal on some brand new take outs from a van conversion place. They're chevy seats but what the heck, they're brand new and match my paint and interior perfect. Hardest part was fabbing up some new brackets.
They also slide way up when you tilt the seat forward so people getting in the back don't have to climb over. Drivers side is in still need to do the other one.

Finally installed my intermittent wiper switch I got at the pull and pay for 6 bucks. Not quite as intermittent as I thought it would be. Also cleaned up the windshield fluid container motor. Kept leaking, took off the little impeller and rubber cover, squirted some gasket sealer around the rubber, put it back on the motor, let it dry. No leaks now!

Changed out the hood for one with less sun tan.... changed gear oil in T-case and both diffs and engine oil, coolant flush although I think its got some blockage or bad thermostat cause runs down the road pretty warm, greased everything and just giving it a good shakedown
