Off my head there are 6 bed bolts, 6 filler neck screws, and the tail light and lic plate harness disconnected. then lift it straight up to clear the filler necks also take the gas caps off they wont fit through the hole. Good luck!!!

You'll probabally have to get the angle grinder out and pop the heads off the 8 bolts, go carefully to avoid grinding into the bed, once the head is gone use a hammer and punch to knock the bolt through. If you remove the rear bumper it isn't too hard to pull the bed off by yourself. I managed to grind the 8 bolts on my parts truck, get the bed off and on to sawhorses for some hammer work, then remove the old bed from my driver and install the other bed by myself. Had do get the gf to hold the wrench in the bed when I put the new bolts in though.

They aren't near as heavy as I thought they'd be.

alright idk about grinding. i just impacted 7 off and one was stripped i used a universal puller deal and took 30min to unscrew, had to wield the bolt to the bed so it did turn when i turned it. that was the only problem so ill have to cut the wield and ill get 8 new bolts for later. uhhh idk i only have 1 friend who ever works with me, so we made a red neck rig and used a chain hoist and pulled it up using 2 ropes 2c clips and a tree ill post pic tomorrow

we had a hell of a time getting my truck to the tree, my friends truck cound get traction in the muddy grass, and we has to hoist the truck 12ft to get some traction. ill post some pics tomorrow so u can see the hoisting rig. probably the best way to go with the bed

guy i was thinking maybe if i do the truck/tree combo i wont even need to take the bolts off cause if ther as rusty as the rest of the truck they should snap right off? i drafted up a diagram of what i will do

its not as complex as it looks

cuz im lazy and its only a spot wield.
wut rust??? my truck has almost absolutly none. see i thought about the truck pulling the bed up but i need my friends truck to move my truck out when the bed is off seeing as mine wont start. but ya i think the hoist is better cuz it a slow left and u can make sure u didnt brake anything u forgot to disconect lol.

uhh no my truck is not a 4x4 and im going to be running ht eback tank so i should have a lil w8 back there, ill be fine quite the woring, plus that should make burning out a hole lot easier.

p.s. pic will be up later today btw
